Eldest of eleven children of Henry & Elizabeth "Betsy" (LEE)KING. Married 16 JUN 1836, in Twiggs Co, GA, by her uncle, Green BROWN, Esq., Justice of the Peace, to William Greene WILKINSON. Homemaker and mother of thirteen children. Family biographical sketch appears on pp. 109-11 of Nancy Kate Rogers' "History of Chattahoochee County, Georgia" (1933), which states: "His [William Greene WILKINSON's]wife Eliza Ann WILKINSON who was a woman of extraordinary character and ability, lived to rear their twelve children, deservedly winning the love and admiration of the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At her death, Jan. 20, 1898, she was buried beside the devoted husband who had preceded her in death by 33 years;" a list of their children appears om a sketch about the KING and related families on p. 351. This surname also appears as WILKERSON.
