Bio

E. Wayne Bottom, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away August 20, 2008. He was born July 12, 1928, the youngest of 8, to William and Lonnie Melton Bottom, of Kansas, IL. Wayne married Patricia J. Hilarides Sommers and was employed with Western Electric for over 35 years as a set up man. He was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church, was an avid gardner, a passionate fisherman, and loved to sing. Wayne is survived by his loving wife Patricia Bottom; daughter, Pamela H. (Rick) Gaertner; sons, Robert C. (Judy) and Randal E. (Lori) Hilarides; sister, Hallie Foster; grandchildren, Nathan and Jeremy Gaertner, and Jason, Brandon, Lucy and Molly Hilarides. Services entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
