Bio
Patricia Hillarides Bottom, age 88, of Indianapolis, passed away July 30, 2022. She was born March 17, 1934 in Beech Grove to the late Floyd O. and Helen D. Good Sommers. Patricia was a graduate of Emmerich Manual High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and in her spare time she was a salesperson for Avon and Tupperware. Patricia married Elvis Wayne Bottom, June 7, 1992, and he preceded her in death August 20, 2008. Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 East Thompson Road. Patricia is survived by her children, Pamela H. Gaertner (Rick) and Robert C. Hillarides; grandchildren, Jason U. Hillarides, Nathan L. (Ashley) Gaertner, Jeremy D. Gaertner, Brandon C. Hillarides, Lucy E. Dobbs (Bryce) and Molly A. Hillarides; great-grandchildren, August L. Lovelace and James L. Gaertner; daughter-in-law, Lori R. Hillarides; brother, Garvin L. Sommers; nieces, Lisa K. and Lynnae D. Sommers; nephew, Garvin J. Sommers; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. A son, Randal E. Hillarides, preceded her in death.
