Pamela J. Kendall passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at CHI Health (SFMC) in Grand Island. Visitation will be on January 9, 2026, from 5 to 7 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm, at All Faiths Funeral Home. The family has asked everyone to wear their "Husker / K.C. Royals" attire, only for the visitation. Funeral service will be January 10, 2026, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 10 am. Committal Service will be at Grand Island City Cemetery following the funeral service. A Reception will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church following the service. Pam was born on May 8, 1955, to Joseph and Lucille (Fortin) Beran, in Grand Island, where she was raised and lived 'til her passing. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in May 1973. She was united in marriage to Randy Kendall, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, on May 1973. Pam and Randy remained in Grand Island while Pam continued her 42-year employment with Hornady Manufacturing as a Machine Operator, then Production Supervisor, and finally Buyer/Planner for several years before retirement. Pam was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, but was raised in the pews of Blessed Sacrament, having gone to school in the church's old elementary school. She loved to watch Husker Football/Volleyball on a big screen tv as well as Kansas City Royals Baseball. She enjoyed bowling, baking, gardening, and playing cards, especially Canasta, with her friends and family. Like her mother Lucy, Pam loved to go fishing when we got the time, from our 15-ft V-bottom boat and most recently from our 16-ft Pontoon. We started going fishing with her mom 'til all hours of the night from the dock at Jeffrey Reservoir (Brady, NE), back in the mid to late 1980's. Her family, friends, and co-workers all agreed, Pam gave the best hugs because she had the biggest heart. Her love of cooking and baking was passed down by her mother (Lucille). Good cooks and bakers ran in the family, like good genes. Pam loved the idea of family and would go out of her way to support them, any away she could. She was preceded in, death, by both of her parents, Joseph & Lucille; younger sister, Karla; two older brothers, Joe & Doug; older sister, Marge. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Randy Kendall; children, Molly (Nicholas) Hixon, Ryan (Shawna) Beran, and Troy Beran; grandchildren, Jaxon and Gracie Hixon, Ayden and Kyla Beran, Payton Perkins, and Brady and Karlee Beran; nieces, Kerri Beran, Vanessa Bardales, and Hannah (Cameron) Anderson; friends, Andrea Fuehrer, Angie Rathbun, Cheryl Carter, Deb Jeffers, Joe Sokolik, Kathy Evans, Kathy Jordan, Maxine White, Pam Tagel, Patty Ottman, and Rocky Kershaw. Cousin, Sue Keith.
