Mrs. Fannie (Mae) Weger, 74, of Claudia Nursing Home, formerly of Berlin, died at 4:55 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Hospital, where she had been a patient for six days. She was Born Mar. 4, 1890, to Samuel Hanson and Louisa (Mantle) Hanson She had resided at the nursing home for the past three years. Her husband, Benjamin Weger, preceded her in death. Her parents also join her in death. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Tankersley of New Berlin, Mrs. Pauline Kean and Mrs. Betty Hinds both of Springfield, Mrs. Pearl Cumby of Berlin and Mrs. Dorothy Flynn of Jacksonville; one son, Samuel Weger of Chatham; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Brown of Springfield and Mrs. Sadie Owen of Peoria; one brother William Hanson of Quincy; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
