Bio

Eloise Wilson, daughter of Joseph Bascom Wilson and Elizabeth E. (Hayes) Wilson, died of malarial fever on 29 September 1882 at Natchez, Mississippi, aged nine years. Note: While Eloise's obituary states that she was nine years old at her death, her burial record ("Sexton's Record") reports that she was eleven years old when she died. She may be the child enumerated as "Juliatt E. Wilson," aged eight years, in her parents' Natchez household in the 1880 U.S. census.
