Bio

Jerry D. Stripling, age 82, of Frankston, Texas died August 9, 2008, in a Tyler, Texas hospital. Burial at Bullard Cemetery was under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard. He was born June 15, 1926, in Bullard to the late Matt and Alice Stripling, and was a lifelong resident. He served in the Navy during World War II, retired from Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. in Tyler, and was a Mason and Shriner. Survivors include his wife, Betty Joy Stripling; sons, David Striping, Rocky Dale Stripling, Randy Stripling, Jerry Wayne "Sandy" Stripling, and Jay Stripling; and sister, Maurine Grinnell, Rochester, N.Y. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ He married Margie Pauline McCoy in Miller County Arkansas, 8.20.1947.
