Bio

E.M. Stripling, 85, passed away Friday, May 29, 2008. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Moore Funeral Home. E.M. was a caring and kind man who always thought of others. He was born in Bullard and moved to Arlington in 1954. He retired from General Motors in 1988. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; sisters, Jewette, Jewel, Glady, Marie and Marguerite; and brothers, Duell, Orth and Jake. Survivors: Children, Ernie Stripling of Denton and Dana Cousins of Colleyville; grandchildren, Luke Cousins, Bailey Harrison and Madison Stripling; and stepdaughter, Peggy Thomas of Tyler. Published in the Star-Telegram on 5/31/2008.
