Robert Edmond "Bob" Holmes was the eldest son of Thomas Green "Black Tom" and his 1st wife, Arsula West Holmes. He was raised in the Newton Co. and Kirbyville area. He married Charlotte Cynthia McClusky.( 1893-1991) Bertie Boodry of Beaumont, TX was their daughter.
