Daniel Max Haegert, 76, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at SunPorch of Smith Center, KS. Danny was born on December 13, 1948, in Smith Center, KS, the son of Alonzo Otto and Ethel Norine (Sloan) Haegert. Danny had a love of the farm life and enjoyed helping his parents on their family farm up until their passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Daryl Lee Haegert and a sister-in-law, JoAnne (Rundel's) Haegert. He is survived by two nephews, Dirk Haegert, Darin Haegert; a niece, Jo (Haegert) Greene and four cousins. A celebration of Danny's life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center, KS, with Pastor Rod Rose presiding. Private family burial at a later date. Memorials may be given to SunPorch of Smith Center.
