A.O. "Lonnie" Haegert ESBON - A.O. "Lonnie" Haegert, 84, Esbon, died Friday, March 23, 1990, at the Smith County Long Term Care Unit, Smith Center. Mr. Haegert was born July 27, 1905, in Jewell County and was a lifelong résident of Esbon. He was a farmer and a member of the Esbon Lions Club. His wife, Ethel, died April 22, 1989. Survivors include two sons, Daryl of Horton and Dannie of Lebanon; a sister, Lottie Travelute of Smith Center; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Simmons Chapel, Smith Center, the Rev. Arden Roush officiating. Burial will be in the Sweet Home Cemetery, Lebanon.
