DOROTHY JANE (PAVLACKA) LANGER, age 93 of Ennis, Texas passed away in Ennis on July 21, 2025. She was born December 20, 1931 in Ennis, Texas to Stanley Pavlacka and Jewel (Thompson) Pavlacka Absher. Dorothy was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST #25 and KJT #35. She was the proprietor of the Bargain Box for several years and made numerous friends during this time that had remained dear to her heart even after her health forced her to close the doors. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Frank Langer, parents, Stanley Pavlacka and Jewel (Thompson) Pavlacka Absher; sisters, Helen (Pavlacka) Mikel, Margaret (Pavlacka) Tipping; brother David Stanley Pavlacka; and great-grandson, Corey Shane Steward. FUNERAL LITURGY OUTSIDE OF MASS will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. INTERMENT will be in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
