David Stanley Pavlacka, 72, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015, in Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, in St. Joseph Cemetery. David was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Stanley and Jewel (Thompson) Pavlacka. He grew up in Ennis and attended St John School and also school in Houston. He served his country with pride in the United State Navy. He worked for himself in Houston as a roofer. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time outside and fishing. Survivors include his son, David Wayne Pavlacka; daughters: Rita, Karen Sue, Joann, Debbie, and Bobbie Jo; numerous grandchildren: brother, Eugene Pavlacka; sisters: Helen Mikel, Dorothy Langer and Margaret Ann Pavlacka; other relatives and many friends.
