NOTE ABOUT MIDDLEBROOK: [Mr Adams, I am Robert McGinnis, Knox County Cemetery Historian, Yes there is a Confederate Cemetery at Middlebrook, but since it is on private property, the owners prefer to keep it a secret. The graves are located within 100 feet of the hospital which is still standing and is and was prior to the war a private residence. They maintain the area as a smooth mowed lawn and respect the area, but will allow no markers to be erected there, and I am not allowed to disclose the exact location out of respect for their privacy. Ther are over 50 graves here, most form the GA area. Please respond if I can be of further help, Robert McGinnis]
