Spencer, Ruby Alice (Donihoo) Departed this life July 18, 2008 at age 82. She was born April 18, 1926 in McKinney, TX to Ernest and Viola Donihoo who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her lifetime soul mate, Jack Spencer. They were married more than 63 years at his death in 2006. Ruby is survived by daughter, Alice Doster and husband Rodney, son, Jack Spencer and wife Lisa, grandchildren: Michelle Appelbaum, Krista Doster and Zachary Spencer, great grandchildren: Shelby and Spencer Shaddox, Jake and Samantha Appelbaum, sister Virginia Clayton, brother Eldon Donihoo and wife Bobbie. Preceded in death by sister, Lois Francis Donihoo. VISITATION will be 7-9 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE will be 1 P.M. Tuesday July 22, 2008 at Charles W Smith & Sons Chapel in McKinney. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Climax, TX.
