Bio

Mrs. Lillian Dorothy Kolar, age 91, of Arcadia. passed away June 19, 2025. She was born November 17, 1933, in Oklahoma City to John A. and Rose Zaloudik and was raised in the Czech settlement town of Mishak, Oklahoma along with three brothers and five sisters. She graduated from Midwest City High School and began a career with Southwestern Bell Telephone. She then met her husband, Stanley Kolar, and the two enjoyed many weekends dancing at the Czech Hall in Yukon. They married August 8, 1956, and together they raised nine children on their dairy farm. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, tv game shows, spending time with her family, baking and cooking. Every Sunday she prepared a fried chicken meal, enough to feed any family members that may happen to pop in for lunch. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Stanley Kolar; her parents; three brothers and four of her five sisters. Lillian is survived by her sister, Amalie Wilson; four sons and three daughters-in-law: Doug Kolar (Becky); Kevin Kolar (Kim); Randy Kolar; and Ivan Kolar (Gina); five daughters and two sons-in-law: Pam Baker (Bobby); Deborah Kolar; Lisa Kolar; Brenda Kolar; and Sandra Woodward (Travis); along with 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
