Bonnie Marie (Woolery) Gilbert, 69, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004, at the St. Joseph hospital. Mrs. Gilbert was employed by Whitaker Cable Corp. and Sherwood Medical. Born in Maryville, Mo., on Sept. 23, 1934, she was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Mrs. Gilbert volunteered for 10 years at the Open Door Food Kitchen through her church and Heartland Regional Medical Center. She also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Auxiliary No. 1668. She married John Gilbert, the father of their children. They were later divorced. He is deceased. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Woolery; her mother, Nina Ruth Hardy; and brother, John Hardy. Surviving: three sons, Dick Gilbert, and wife, Libby; and Mike Gilbert, and wife, Lisa, all of St. Joseph; and John Gilbert, and wife, Carolyn, North Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Sue Gerber, and husband, Kevin, St. Joseph; and Mary Ann Bradley, and husband, Rene, Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers, Robert Woolery, Waterloo, Iowa; and Donald Woolery, St. Joseph; two sisters, Arlene Cottrell, Grant City, Mo.; and Wilma "Dolly" Jenkins, St. Joseph; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow a rosary at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, St. Joseph, with Rev. Micheal Volkmer offi-ciating. Inurnment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph. Arrangements are by Rupp Funeral Home, St. Joseph
