MRS. SCOTT DEAD -------------------- A Noble and Beloved Lady Passes Away -------------------- Mrs. Amanda S. Scott, relict of Tolbert T. Scott, died last evening of tumor at her home on South Loving avenue, East Sherman. The deceased was born in Moniteau county, Missouri, June 22, 1831. She had been a consistent member of the Christian church for the past fifty years. She had been a resident of Grayson count for eighteen years. Six of the ten children born to her survive her. They are: Former County Treasurer Wm. Scott, now a citizen of Johnson county. H. M. Scott of Uvalde county. Mrs. E. H. Brown of Oklahoma Territory. Mrs. G. D.Hogle of Tioga, this county. Mrs. J. W. Estis, of Bonita, Montague county. Mrs. Wm. Shearer of Des Moines, Iowa. She was loved and honored by all who knew her.
