Geo. Morgan dies at Home of Daughter Thursday Morning George Morgan, aged 75 years, passed away Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maud Brady at 4:35 o'clock in Fort Worth, following an operation and illness of several weeks. Mr. Morgan was born on June 16, 1860, near Tuscombia, Ala. and came to Texas when a young man. Later he returned to Alabama where he was married, and then moved to Parker county where he had lived for the past 43 years. There are surviving the widow, and five children as follows: E. B. and Paul Morgan, Weatherford; J. W. Morgan, Mrs. Maud Brady and Mrs. Willie Thomas, all of Fort Worth. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three brothers and three sisters as follows: Newt and Alf Morgan, Mineral Wells; Andrew Morgan, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Drucilla Riley, Healdton, Okla; Mrs. Mary Cretsinger, Gordon, Tex; and Mrs. Fronia Fortune, Mineral Wells. The funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Weatherford, at 2:30 o'clock, Friday afternoon, with Rev. W. W. Nesmith of Bridgeport and Rev. A. J. Morgan of Breckenridge, officiating. Burial will take place in City Oakland Cemetery. Weatherford, Parker County, Texas ---The Daily Herald, Thursday, December 12, 1935
