Parents John W Morgan and Rebecca Whitlock Cephronia was the wife of Ira Edgar Fortune having been married in Parker Co., Texas, on 28 October 1891. The date of birth on her headstone (Dec. 12, 1868) is contradicted by the 1900 Census which indicates Dec 1872; by the 1880 Census which gives her age as 7 (born c1872/73); and by the 1870 Census in which she is not present. Cephronia was the mother of two children: Pearl Mae (Fortune) Craven [22 Apr 1895-28 Dec 1967] and Edgar F. Fortune, born in Dec 1897. Edgar died young. Info from Vern Paul @ [email protected]
