Last Rites Held In Weatherford For Mrs. McBride Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice McBride, 56, formerly of Hall County, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the White Funeral Home chapel in Weatherford. Mrs. McBride, who lived in Hall County for many years and will be remembered by many friends as the former Mrs. Lyhugh Vallanee, died at her home in Weatherford early Saturday. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Weatherford. Born at Harleton on April 6, 1894, she spent most of her married life in Hall County. She married Lyhugh Vallanee and the couple resided in this county until his death in Memphis in 1918. Later she was married to Charlie McBride who preceded her in death in February of 1947. Survivors include a son, Richard Vallanee, of Clarendon, and two daughters. Five sisters also survive. Mr. and Mrs. L.O. Dennis and their grandchildren, Cherrye, Richard and Dolfie Sue Vallanee of Clarendon, attended the funeral services from here.
