Marian Rohloff (Snyder) April 16, 1937 - May 18, 2025 Marian L. was born April 16, 1937 at rural Arlington, NE to Nye Sr. and Helen (Eckstein) Snyder. Marian grew up on the farm at Tekamah, NE and graduated from Tekamah High School. She then graduated from Dana College with her Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching in 1989. She taught at several rural schools including District 87 and Hooper/Logan View Public Schools. Marian married Norman R.D. Rohloff May 22, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont and has been attending Trinity Lutheran Church since early 2025. Marian was a former member of the Fremont Eagles Club #200, and Fremont Area Association Retired School Personnel. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and loved to fish. Marian L. Rohloff 88 of Fremont, Nebraska passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at her home Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kevin (Patti) Rohloff of Omaha and Norman Rohloff of Waverly, NE; brothers, Tony Snyder of Blair, NE and Nye Snyder, Jr (Jan); sister, Leona (J C) Watson all of Fremont; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norman in 2009; sisters, Helen Jacobs and Amelia Melroy; brother, Jim Snyder, Sr. and one granddaughter. Funeral will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Visitation will be 5-7 P.M., Wednesday, May 21st at Moser's in Fremont and continue on Thursday 1 hour prior to the service at church. Moser Memorial Chapel in service to the family.
