Amelia was born October 5th in rural Arlington, NE to Nye and Helen(Eckstein)Snyder. She married Elmer Melroy on November 11, 1967 in Columbus, NE. She lived in the Fremont area most of her life. Amelia was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fremont. She is survived by her husband, Elmer; son, Nye Larsen of North Platte, NE; daughters, Jamie Bertram, Mary Larsen-Kuhl and Linda & husband, Jay Taylor all of Fremont and Karen & husband, Lowell Wedekind of Illinois City, IL; brothers, Tony & wife, Margaret Snyder of Blair, NE and Nye & wife, Jan Snyder of Fremont; sisters, Marian Rohloff and Leona & husband, J.C. Watson all of Fremont; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Wayne Kuhl; sister, Helen Jacobs and brother, James Snyder. Memorial service, 11 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Steve Watson will officiate. There is no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.
