Bio
Bernice Colyer Glover, Rush Branch Road, Somerset, died Saturday, October 21, 1995 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital following a long illness. She was 71. A Cincinnati native, she was born September 29, 1924, daughter of the late Add and Rosetta Alexander Colyer. She was a retired employee of H&R Block, Alcalde Post Office and Alva Glover Grocery, and a member of New Enterprise Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Alva P. Glover, whom she married November 28, 1942 in Somerset; a son, Lindsey (and Phyllis) Glover, Somerset; two daughters, Rosezell (and Herbert) Waddle, Somerset and Michelle (and Rick) Ford, Ferguson; two brothers, Noel Colyer, Zanesville, Ohio and Gary Colyer, Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, Lera Sears, Rensselaer, Indiana and Rosemary VanHook, Florence; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Glover II, Tonya, Bryant, and Jay Waddle, and Joshua, Jordan, and Jerrica Ford. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Revs. Curtis Keith and Jewell Hail officiating. Entombment will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
