Bio

She was born in Ruth, Ky, a daughter of the late Adrian Colyer and Rosetta Alexander. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. VanHook, whom she married in 1946 in Rosewell, Georgia and who passed away in April 1986. She is survived by three sons, Gary (and Gretchen) Colyer, Seattle, Washington, Larry (and Linda) VanHook, Somerset, Ky and Ben (and Judy) VanHook, Science Hill, Ky; one daughter, Teresa (and Glen) Goldenberg, Louisville, Ky; one brother, Noel Colyer, Zainseville, Ohio; one sister, Leara Sears Rensselar, Indiana.
