Carol Marie Rooker Morris, 80, of El Campo, passed away comfortably in her home on March 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 11, 1945 in El Campo to the late Albin "A.C." and Emily Ermis Rooker. Carol was a loving and devoted housewife. Her family was her world and she did everything for them. While living in Rockport with her husband, Larry, she worked as a nanny. She took great pride in taking care of the children and watching them grow. While there, she volunteered at many local churches to work in the nurseries. Carol enjoyed being with her family, especially her only grandchild, Maddie, who called her "Grandma". Carol loved being on the water, fishing, and just being outdoors. She enjoyed music, dancing and having a good time wherever she went. She also enjoyed playing dominos and cards with her sisters and brothers-in-law. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Morris of EL Campo; son, Chad Morris of Fredericksburg; daughter, Kimberly Feverjean of El Campo; granddaughter, Maddie Feverjean of El Campo; siblings, Gloria Patik of El Campo, Albin "A.C." Rooker Jr. of Fayetteville, Emily Beal (Donald) of El Campo and Aleene Vaclavik (Billy) of El Campo; brother-in-law, James Morris (Tammy) of League City and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 30 at Triska Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 4 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. in Monday, March 31 at the funeral home with the Rev. Collins Ya Twum officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Morris, Jay Skrovan, Cole Slaughter, Riley Todd, A.C. Rooker III and Billy Vaclacik. The family would like to thank Virginia Hand, Coni Ochoa, Ariana Sierra and Angels Care Hospice for the love and care they gave to Carol. Memorial donations in memory of Carol may be made to Angels Care Hospice, 1605 7th St. Suite B, Bay City, TX 77414.
