Bio

Mr. Bobby "Bob" Lloyd Malone, 75, of Hubbard, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008, at a Waco hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Wade Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, July 7, at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard. Bob was born in Canton, Texas, to the late Lloyd Earl and Minnie Cora (Prigmore) Malone. He was raised in Canton but had lived in Dallas before moving to Hubbard in 1964. Bob was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman First Class (AIC). He was preceded in death by sons, Patrick and David; daughter, Margaret; and a sister, Jane Eddy. Survivors include his wife, Lela Malone, of Hubbard; daughter, Cathy Chapman and her husband, Herb, of Hubbard; son, Robert Malone and his wife, Diana, of Massillon, Ohio; brothers, Billy Malone and his wife, Mary, of Eustace, and Jack Malone; other relatives and many friends.
