Graveside services for Bill Malone, 79 of Eustace are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Moorehead Melton Cemetery in Eustace, Texas with David LaClair officiating. On Sept. 18, 2013, Billy Charles Malone sailed off into the wild blue yonder, flying high into the sun. Bill was born on Nov. 30, 1933 in Aley, Texas to Minnie Prigmore Malone and Lloyd Earl Malone. He was their second born. Bill retired from the Air Force as a Tech. Sergeant in 1972. His last assignment was as master instructor at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado where he was involved in teaching munitions. Bill served in many foreign countries and he delighted in learning to communicate in the language of each country. Even more enjoyable to him was to use these foreign phrases when he returned home. Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and he used these phrases to amuse and shock unsuspecting Americans, especially the employees at Sue's Roost in Eustace. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Minnie and Lloyd Malone, his brothers, Bobby Lloyd Malone. Jack Duane Malone, and his sister Jane Malone Eddy. Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Malone of Eustace, Texas, his daughter and son-in-law Sharon Malone LaClair and Dan LaClair of Nacogdoches, Texas, his grandchildren, Christopher LaClair of Corpus Christi, Texas, David LaClair of Brownsville, Texas, Levi LaClair of Austin, Texas, and Rebecca LaClair Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas, one great grandchild, Davian Davis also of Nacogdoches, his many friends and former classmates in the Eustace area and a very close and loved "adopted" son Juan Ochoa & family. Serving as Pallbearers will be Christopher LaClair, David LaClair, Levi LaClair, Dan LaClair, Juan Ochoa, Angel Ochoa and Jose Torres.
