BROTHER of Ewald Johann Friedrich, Elmo Otto, Earline Ida, Elo Wilhelm, Edna Henrietta Lee Roy Arthur Lilie, 78, of Columbus, died Jan. 4 in. Richmond. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 8 at Henneke Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Marsh officiating. Burial followed in Kaiser Cemetery in the Brushy Community. Born Nov. 15, 1928 in the Frelsburg, Brushy Community, the son of William and Otillie (Georg) Lilie. On Feb. 14, 1970, he married Mildred Genzer Machac. He was a painter by trade and made his living as a painter in the onstruction field and had worked for Roy Menke Construction for 26 years. He is survived by his daughters, Shirley Brannon and husband Bill of San Felipe and Connie Dieringer and husband Charles of Sealy; son, Billy Machac of Columbus; sister, Edna Supak of Columbus; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Georgie Ann Hoffman; three brothers, Ewald, Elo, and Elmo Lilie; and one sister, Earline Adamek. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Colorado County Unit, P.O. Box 772, Columbus, Tx. 78934. Henneke Funeral Home of Columbus was in charge of arrangements.
