Funeral Services for Elmo O. Lilie of Rt. 1, Columbus (Brushy), were held Tuesday, February 2, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Sharon Burns officiating and burial in the Kaiser Cemetery in Brushy. Mr. Lilie passed away at his residence January 31. He as 72 years of age. A lifetime resident of the Brushy area, he was born in Frelsburg January 29, 1921, the son of William and Otilie (Georg) Lilie. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Hermann Sons Lodge of Ellinger. Survivors include two sisters, Edna Supak and Earline Adamek and her husband, Johnnie, all of Columbus; brother, Lee Roy Lilie and his wife, Mildred, of Columbus; sister-in-law, Dela Lilie of Columbus; seven nieces and nephews; and 11 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ewald and Elo Lilie. Pallbearers were Cliff Kozik, Gilbert Krenek, Ken Gray, Gus Hopkins, Ben Halamicek, Michael Krenek, George Henneke and Pet Crawford.
