Hamilton, Christine Marie Christine Marie Hamilton July 27, 1928 June 19, 2003 Services: Mon., June 23, 10 a.m. Christine passed away on June 19, 2003, in Bakersfield, CA, at the age of 74. She was born in Clarke County, Iowa. Christine moved to California in 1960 with her husband, Joe and three daughters, a fourth daughter was born that same year. She recently moved to Bakersfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oda and Marie Cooper; daughter, Dianna West; and grandson, Jessie Simpson. She is survived by her husband, Joe; children, Lynette and husband, Dave Metcalf of Santa Rosa, Denise and husband, Gene Sewell of Arroyo Grande and Linda Montgomery of Taft; grandchildren, T.J. and Kori West, Leann Howe and Brandi Simpson, Kristina and Audrey Sewell, Samantha and Tiffany Montgomery; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Cooper; sisters, Donna Farner and Joan Lewis; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln., Monday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine, CA.
