Lois Marsh BIG SANDY - Services for Lois Geraldine Marsh, 86, Big Sandy, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Croley Funeral Home, Gilmer, with Perry Cowan and Eddie Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Marsh died Dec. 21 in Gilmer. She was born Oct. 10, 1917, in the Pritchett community to Ira D. and Carrie Myrtle Spruiell Henson and was a lifelong resident of Upshur County. She was employed at UT Health Center as a PBX operator and member of Pritchett Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dencil O. Marsh. Survivors include her sons, Dencil Marsh, Longview, Thomas Marsh, Pritchett, and Freddie Marsh, Denton; sisters, Bessie McGaffey, Thelma Sontag and Francis Beard, all of Crosby; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joshua Allen, Denvil Allen, Claarence Earp, Ronnie Marsh, Jessie Robertson and Mark Robertson.
