Bio

Jack Petska of Lincoln, NE passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born and raised in Grand Island. He was an enthusiastic sports fan; he played, coached, watched, and collected throughout his life. His favorite athletes were his children and grandchildren. He was immensely proud of his family and all their achievements. Survived by his wife, Valorie Bendixen; children, Chris (Kelly) Petska, Corinne (Bart) Rogers, Matt (May) Lehechka, Sara (Chris) Petska; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, as well as many other friends and family. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Lou and Lois Petska; sister, Betty Lindley; and one great grandchild. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home 5200 R Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
