Cooper Reese (27729030) Published in the Athens Review May 12, 1949 Cooper Reese, 49, died at his home in Malakoff Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. after an illness of nine months. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Malakoff. Complete arrangements are pending. Hassell & Foster Funeral Home is in charge. He was born February 19, 1900 in Golden, Texas, and moved to Malakoff in 1933 where he had lived since then. Mr. Reese is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Troy Chandler of Waco and Mrs. Thurman Proctor of Big Spring; four brothers, Troy Reese of Malakoff, Nelson Reese of Malakoff, Walter Reese of Houston and John Reese of Malakoff; and one sister, Mrs. Solen Blackstock of Mineola.
