Maxine Marie (Kosch) Aerts was born March 23, 1921, in Shelby, Nebraska to Alois and Regina (Messing) Kosch and was taken into God's arms November 1, 2024, at the age of 103. Maxine attended school in Shelby. She traveled with friends and worked in nursing at the Orthopedic Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. She married Ted Aerts October 8, 1947, and 10 children were born to this union. They made their home in Butler County where they were engaged in farming. After they retired, they moved to David City.
