Thomas William Griffee of age married Catherine A. Miller with consent of father on December 25, 1867 in Meade County, Kentucky. From Meade County Marriages Vol II, 1824-1884. Thomas W. Griffee of age, 28 years born in Kentucky married Catherine Coleman of age, 24 years born in Kentucky on January 19, 1875 in Meade County, Kentucky. From Meade County Marriages Vol II, 1824-1884. Thomas Griffee, age 71, one of Meade's oldest and well-known farmers, died Wednesday, March 20, 1818. He suffered a stroke of paralysis several months ago and had been confined to his bed practically ever since. he is survived by four sons, Ed Griffee, Chris Griffee, John Griffee and Stuart Griffee. He was a member of M. E. Church and his funeral was conducted at Cedar Grove with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Meade County Messenger, March 27, 1918 page 3
