Bio

Mr. Richard Henry "Pop" Coker, 69, of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, in Monroe. His funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at First Baptist Church of Calhoun with Revs. Neil Everett and Dub Massey officiating. Interment was in Beulah Church Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Annette Coker; daughters, Nancy Ann Britton, Carol Jean Widener and husband, Mike, and Pamela Gayle Robinson and husband, Gary; "special daughters", Gina White and Crystal Bresett; brothers, Billly Ray Coker and wife, Earnestine, and Gerald Don Coker and wife, Marilyn,; sister, Ima Nae Green and husband, Roy,; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joshua Fitzpatrick, Jeffrey Fitzpatrick, Jacob Fitzpatrick, Ricky Coker, Chris Coker and Tanner White.
