Funeral services for Ima Nae Coker Green will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 23, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Calhoun. Interment will immediately follow at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe. Visitation for Mrs. Green will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Mrs. Green, a life-long resident of Calhoun, Louisiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 20, 2023. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roy Skeeter Green; parents, Leo and Anna Lee Coker; brothers and sisters-in law Billy Ray and Ernestine Coker, Gerald Don and Marilyn Coker and brother Richard Coker. Mrs. Green is survived by her sons, Scott Green and wife Beth and Troy Green and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Caroline Green Barton, Spencer Green, Jayden Green, Brian Green and Jackson Green; sister-in-law and best friend, Annette Coker; brother-in law, Bill Green and wife, Ricki; very special nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Green was a retired school bus driver and a member of First Baptist Church Calhoun, Louisiana. Family and her dear husband were most important to Mrs. Green. She adored her children and grandchildren and her grandchildren always knew that Nana loved them a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck! Mrs. Green loved traveling with her husband and they also enjoyed many wonderful trips with her brothers and sisters-in-law. Mrs. Green also enjoyed spending time with her very special friends, going to lunch and playing cards and dominoes. The family would like to thank the amazing nursing staff of St. Francis Medical Center, 6th Floor ICU, who ministered to her physical care during her last days. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Spencer Green, Jayden Green and Brian Green and nephews, Dr. Don Coker, Mark Coker and Ray Coker.
