Bio

Published in the Limestone Democrat, Athens, Ala., December 23, 1937 Oscar Pitts, 44-year-old farmer of the Gipsy neighborhood, died on Saturday last and his remains were interred at the Legg graveyard Sunday, Rev. Morris Zehner conducting the funeral services, McConnell's in charge. Mr. Pitts suffered a severe attack of pneumonia and died after a few days illness. The deceased is survived by his widowed mother, his wife and four children. Two brothers and five sisters also survive the bereaved family. Children: Jessie D.
