Bio
Eva Marie (DeWispelare) Kadavy, 79, of Lincoln, was born December 12, 1944. She passed away in Lincoln on September 26, 2024. Eva was born in David City, NE, and grew up on a farm near Octavia, NE. Eva attended the Marietta school in Bellwood, NE, and graduated from David City Aquinas Highschool, in 1963. After high school, Eva moved to Omaha and worked as a secretary at mutual of Omaha. While living in Omaha, she met, Robert Kadavy. Eva and Robert were married in November of 1966, and moved from Omaha to Wahoo. Eva and Robert welcomed a daughter, Sharon, into their family. They moved to Fremont in 1970, where their son, Dale, was born in 1971, and daughter, Lori, was born in 1975. Eva and Robert dedicated themselves to faith and family, working and raising their children. Eva was also a proud grandparent. She loved visits from her children's families during holidays and other times throughout the year. Eva moved to Lincoln in 2020, living closer to her daughters and she enjoyed attending school functions with her grandkids. She also spent time with her son's family in Kansas. A Rosary service will be held at 10:00 a.m., with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at North American Martyrs Catholic Church in Lincoln. A luncheon will follow the Mass.
