Robert F. Kadavy, 73 years of Fremont, NE died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln, NE. He was born May 17, 1939 in Weston, NE to Henry and Emma (Fujan) Kadavy. He grew up in Weston and graduated from Weston High School. He served in the United States Army from December 1961 to September 1963. He returned to Weston and in 1966 moved to Wahoo and then to Fremont. He married Eva DeWispelare on December 26, 1966 at Presentation Parish in Bellwood, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. The memorial mass will be 2:00 Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont with Father Jim Keiter officiating. There is no visitation. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. He enjoyed gardening and planting flowers and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Eva; son Dale Kadavy and wife Kelli of Overland Park, KS; daughters Lori Mahan and husband Jeff of Lincoln, Sharon Teeters and husband Brian of Lincoln; brother Henry Kadavy of Davenport, IA; sisters Mary Ann Svoboda and husband Don of David City, Rose Pflum and husband Jim of David City, Agnes Otto of Indiana; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. The memorial mass will be 2:00 Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont with Father Jim Keiter officiating. There is no visitation. Burial will be private.
