THE RECORD-DEMOCRAT (Wagoner, Oklahoma) - Thu - 23 Apr 1942 Funeral services for Amos Melton, 81, who died Friday night in the home of his son in Hulbert, were held Sunday afternoon in the Hulbert Church of Christ. Services were conducted by the Rev. Alvin Spears, Hulbert, with burial in the Lost City Cemetery under the direction of the Green Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, Ralph Melton, Hulbert; Charles Melton, Pine Bluff, Ark.; and Joe Melton, Indiana; 30 grandchildren and three sisters.
