Vernaline Stolte, born on November 16, 1934, to John H. Hildebrand and Lorine (Neimann) Hildebrand in Birch community of Burleson County, Texas, passed away peacefully of June 17, 2024 in Taylor, Texas. Vernaline attended Somerville School and went on to complete her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) training at Taylor John's Community Hospital in Taylor, Tx. On June 13, 1956, Vernaline married Charles Stolte in Taylor, Texas. Together, they had three children: Charlene & husband Wayne Teasdale, David & wife Reisha Stolte, and Donald & wife Rachael Stolte. She was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Vernaline dedicated her career to nursing at John's Community Hospital and was an active member of the Texas League of Vocational Nurses for over 20 years. She enjoyed and had the most beautiful flower gardens, trips to Fredericksburg, gathering with her 'church ladies', gossiping at the beauty salon, and hosting family and friends in her home. Known as the rock of the family, Vernaline brought everyone together with her delicious cooking and warm hospitality. She was extremely independent and hardworking, qualities that inspired all who knew her. Vernaline loved watching her grandchildren participate in sports and was their biggest fan, cheering them on at every game and event. A viewing will be held at Condra Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Taylor Cemetery . Afterward, friends and family are invited to a gathering at Prince of Peace & Immanuel Church (Wuthrich Hill)
