OBITUARY: Bunch Family by Ed Bunch no other source given Sister Elizabeth French was born February 16, 1817 in the State of Indiana. She was converted at the age of eight years and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church. The last 39 years of her life she enjoyed the blessing of entire sanctification. She was loved by all who knew her, and those who knew her best loved her most, and had in her the utmost confidence as a Christian and sought her advise and council. She was sick only about ten days. She died of pneumonia. The message of death found her ready for the summons. She died in triumph of a living faith, and expressed herself as desiring to go. She passed away April 7, at 4:30 PM. She was married twice during her life. First to William Bunch at the age of 16, with whom she lived 37 years, and became the mother of nine children, five of whom survive her. In 1874 she was married to Noah French, with whom she lived until death severed the bonds. Father French is in feeble health, and he feels the shock very much. May the grace of God sustain him in this bereavement. The funeral was preached by the writer from Philippians 1:21. Brother and Sister Kenworthy of the Friends Church also made some appropriate remarks. Sister French was a sister of C. Barnett of Bloomfield and Sister Wallace of Des Moines. by FH Brookmiller Obituary Info provided by Connie Woodward #46810955
