Aubrey Allen Lowrance, 90, of Amarillo, died Monday, June 17, 2013. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Military Rites are by DAV Chapter 26. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Lowrance was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Dickens County, to John and Mary Lowrance. He went to school in Roaring Springs and moved to Amarillo in 1940. He served in the Navy in World War II. He owned and operated Aubrey Plumbing and Air Conditioning Company. He was a member of Palo Duro Masonic Lodge No. 1239 and was active in Khiva Temple. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Lowrance of Amarillo; two sons, Barry Allen Lowrance of Amarillo and Brent Lowrance of Wisconsin; eight brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. ----- (Published in Amarillo Globe-News, June 19, 2013) Aubrey Allen Lowrance, 90, of Amarillo died Monday, June 17, 2013.
