Juanita M Leutzinger, 77, of 607 W Williams, went to be with the Lord at 7:29 a.m. May 21, 2008, at her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1930 in Ottumwa to Eugene and Hazel Ramsey Bankson. She married William "Bill" Leutzinger Sept. 8, 1950. He preceded her in death May 4, 2007. She was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly of God and had been an adult Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a charter president of Ottumwa Women's Aglow and she and her husband founded the Once Lost Now Found Ministry. Surviving are two sons, Rev. William "Bill" (Sandy) Leutzinger of Layton, Utah and Rev. Gene (Debbie) Leutzinger of North Liberty; four grandchildren, Candace, Michael, Nate and Abby; two sisters, Ruth Smith of McAllen, Texas and Shirley Leonard of Ottumwa; a brother Larry Bankson of Angleton, Texas; and four special gifts from God, Mary Ades, Angie and John Sales, and Teri Jacobs. She was preceded in death by a bother Leo Bankson. Funeral services will be 7p.m. Monday at First Pentecostal Assembly of God with Rev. Bill Leutzinger and Rev Gene Leutzinger officiating. Juanita requested that a pink helium balloon be brought to the church for release after the service. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shaul Cemetery.The casket will be moved to First Pentecostal Assembly of God at 4 P.M. Monday with the family present from 5-7 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice, 312 E. Alta Vista, Ottumwa, Iowa 52501.
