Eldest daughter of Eugene Bankson and Hazel Vivian Ramsey Bankson. Married Samuel T. “Smitty” Smith. Has one daughter, Linda. Sister of Leo, Juanita, Shirley and Larry. Graduated Ottumwa High School with the class of 1945. Died peacefully in sleep spring 2020.
