Bio

Elbert was born in West Station, Texas to the late William Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Mathis) Kilpatrick. He married Harriett Wood, September 1, 1948 in Austin, Texas. Mr. Kilpatrick was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He moved to Graham in 1982 from Burkburnett, Texas. He was a school teacher and retired as principal of the Megargel High School. Survivors include; wife, Harriett Kilpatrick of Graham; daughters, Jennifer Stout and Jessica Martin both of Paris, TX., Mitzi Taylor of San Antonio; sons, Robert of Graham, Sam of Olney, Gary of Castorville, and Carey of Burkburnett; brother, Charles Kilpatrick of Cuero; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
