Bio
Lyle Henry Schroder, age 94, formerly of Huron, SD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2008 while in Cedar Rapids, IA. Graveside services for the immediate family will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008, at the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Huron, SD with the Rev. Ken Hunt officiating. A Memorial Service for Lyle will be held at a later date in July. Grateful for having shared his life are his son, Craig Kendall Schroder and his wife Sharon Patterson Schroder of Cedar Rapids, IA; his daughter Cynthia Ann Schroder, Mount Vernon, IA; His grandchildren, Tim, Jim, Jay, Shane, Toby, and Kari; sister Edna Ermels, Bishop, CA; and a special friend Dorothy Matheny, Cedar Rapids, IA. Lyle was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Norfolk Schroder; and his son Kenneth Lyle Schroder. Arrangements by Welter Funeral Home.
