Bio

The Daily Plainsman Friday, May 14, 1971 Alice Spiller was born Nov. 27, 1886, in Schuyler County, Ill., the daughter of John P. and Sarah E. Spiller. She married George H. Schroder Nov. 15, 1905 and they had nine children. Mr. and Mrs Schoder resided on a farm south of Huron from 1910 until 1943 when they moved to Huron. He preceded her in death in 1944. She also was preceded in death by one child in infancy and a son, Harold on Feb. 13, 1970. She was a member of First Baptist Church and of Sisterhood Class at the church. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ballard Blount, Sioux Falls officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
